ASIC and Logic Design Engineering Intern, Summer 2026, (Teradyne, Agoura Hills, CA)

The intern will assist in the design, optimization, and characterization of high-speed or high-power ICs for ATE instruments using Cadence EDA tools. Responsibilities include physical layout implementation, documentation, and performing IC evaluations in the lab.
Responsibilities
- Assisting design engineers in developing specifications for analog blocks
- Optimizing and characterizing a circuit via simulation
- Participating in physical implementation (layout) of circuits
- Participating in documentation and design review
- Participating in IC evaluation in the lab
Requirements
- Currently working towards BSEE/MSEE degree with emphasis on mixed-signal and analog integrated circuit design
- Analog and/or Mixed-Signal integrated circuit design knowledge
- Previous industry experience or academic experience with several design tapeouts is a plus
- Cadence EDA tools, Spectre, Hspice
- Programming and Scripting, C++, VBA, Python
- Knowledge working with lab equipment - oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.
