Senior Supervisor – Controls System Design Engineering
Carrier 🇨🇦 Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada
Lead the architecture and deployment of sophisticated building automation solutions and high-performance control algorithms. Provide technical leadership by mentoring engineers and collaborating with sales and project teams to mitigate operational risks.
Responsibilities
- Design and program advanced building automation systems, site-specific configuration of control system, and control algorithms
- Adhere to project requirements and company and customer standards of design, programming and implementation
- Create a clear design document for project teams with technical information
- Document and communicate the building automation system design and revisions
- Develop graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems
- Test programming and interfaces prior to implantation
Requirements
- University degree with 4+ years of design experience in HVAC controls or Building Automation
- College, technical qualification or completed trade school with 6+ years of design experience in HVAC controls or Building Automation
- High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of design experience in HVAC controls or Building Automation
- Manage/supervise a team
- EDS software knowledge
- Advanced degree in Engineering or Construction discipline
- Experience in HVAC controls, Building Automation, or related industry
