Translate UI/UX design wireframes into pixel-perfect HTML/CSS code and ensure technical feasibility. Optimize front-end performance for speed and scalability using tools like Google PageSpeed Insights and GtMetrix.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize front-end for maximum speed and scalability
- Work with tools like Google's page speed insights, GtMetrix, W3C HTML/CSS/JS validators
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to the back-end
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Follow the instructions and in-house project management system as well as defined processes
- Quickly learn and adapt end requirements to produce valuable code
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a software development company as a web designer/front-end developer
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, such as Photoshop
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field
- Ability to communicate in English
