Lead the design and product development process for womenswear and accessories from concept to market readiness. Ensure the brand DNA is maintained while balancing creative design with commercial viability and performance analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and product development process
- Ensure a clear and consistent brand identity
- Develop product strategies and commercially relevant collections
- Translate trends, target group needs, and market developments into viable products
- Combine creativity and economic viability
- Analyze sales figures and derive concrete measures for optimization
- Select and develop materials, patterns, and product details
- Collaborate with production, sales, and marketing
- Ensure quality, fit, and design integrity of prototypes and fittings
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in Product Design/Produktmanagement in the fashion industry
- Strong sense of trends, target groups, and brand building
- Excellent understanding of commercial product development
- Experience in combining design and economic KPIs
- Strong knowledge of materials, patterns, and construction
- Experience in collaborating with production and suppliers
- Structured and creative working method
- Proficient in common design tools (e.g. Adobe Illustrator)
- Excellent German and English language skills
