Lead the end-to-end UX process to create frictionless self-service journeys for members. Identify friction points using qualitative and quantitative data and implement pragmatic solutions using the existing design system.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design process with a strong focus on the end-user aiming for a frictionless user experience
- Initiate discovery: user research, journey mapping, usability testing, and behavioral analysis
- Identify and prioritize friction points using both qualitative insight and quantitative data
- Translate messy problem spaces into clear problem statements and opportunity areas
- Design pragmatic solutions using the existing design system and patterns
- Create new design system components and maintain existing components
- Collaborate closely with designers, development, data, and customer support
- Validate solutions early and often, through experiments and testing
- Measure impact with clear outcomes (e.g. task success, reduced drop-offs, fewer support cases)
- Contribute insights back into the broader UX team to raise overall UX maturity
Requirements
- 3â6 years of UX experience in a product environment (in-house preferred over agency-only)
- Strong discovery skills: research, synthesis, and problem framing
- Comfortable working with behavioral data and turning signals into insights
- Proven ability to simplify complex journeys and reduce user friction
- Pragmatic designer: outcome-driven, not attached to visual flourish
- Experience measuring UX impact with experiments or A/B testing
- Experience with creating and/or working with a design system
- Strong stakeholder skills; able to align business and engineering around user problems
- Autonomous and structured, but collaborative by default
- Clear communicator who can explain decisions in plain language
- Fluent in English; comfortable in an international environment
