UI/UX Designer, Lion Holdings

The UI/UX Designer is responsible for creating intuitive digital products by conducting user research and developing wireframes and prototypes. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain design systems and optimize application performance.

Responsibilities

• User Research and Testing: Investigate user behavior, conduct usability testing, and analyze feedback to inform design decisions
• Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes to map out user journeys
• UI Design: Create high-fidelity mockups, UI elements, and interactive prototypes that are visually engaging
• Collaboration: Work with product managers, engineers, and marketers to ensure design feasibility and consistency
• Design System Management: Maintain and update UI style guides and pattern libraries to ensure consistency

Requirements

• Tool Proficiency: Strong experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Protopie
• Design Thinking: Knowledge of wireframing, prototyping, and user-centered design methodologies
• Visual Design Skills: Proficiency in typography, color theory, and layout, often with tools like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
• Technical Understanding: Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and UI frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, React) is often preferred but not always required
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating both the process and final high-fidelity design work
• Bachelor's degree: Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent experience is preferred
• Experience: 4+ years of experience in designing web/mobile applications is required
