Freelance Senior UX Designer and Strategist
The Mx Group Remote (🇺🇸 Burr Ridge, DuPage County, Illinois, United States of America)
Lead design execution for client engagements by producing wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity deliverables. Contribute to experience strategy, competitive research, and content organization to align with user intent and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Produce wireframes, user flows, interaction patterns, and high-fidelity design deliverables
- Translate briefs, research outputs, and strategy frameworks into clear, usable design solutions
- Contribute to competitive analysis efforts, including UX audits, feature comparisons, and experience benchmarking
- Review and interpret SEO, AEO, and GEO reports, identifying implications for information architecture, page structure, content hierarchy, and user intent alignment
Requirements
- 8-10 years of UX and interaction design experience
- Strong portfolio demonstrating wireframing, interaction design, and high-fidelity UI
- Fluency in Figma, including component-based design, auto layout, and developer handoff workflows
- Familiarity with competitive analysis frameworks and the ability to produce structured UX and experience audits
