Sr. Product Designer
Dealer-fx Group 🇨🇦 Markham, Ontario, Canada
Lead the design of end-to-end digital customer experiences across one or more product areas to ensure they are intuitive and cohesive. Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to translate product strategy into scalable design solutions that drive business value.
Responsibilities
- Own the design of one or more product areas, with success measured by usability, cohesion, and alignment with product goals
- Be accountable for translating product strategy into actionable, scalable design solutions, measured by adoption, quality, and minimal rework
- Drive impact through design leadership by shaping solutions that balance user needs, business priorities, and technical constraints
- Use research, feedback, and analytics to inform design decisions and improve experiences
- Guide other designers and contribute to stronger design consistency and quality across initiatives
- Advocate for the user perspective across cross-functional teams
- Influence product direction through well-reasoned, user-centered recommendations
Requirements
- Experience designing complex, end-to-end product experiences in a SaaS or digital product environment
- Ability to manage multiple design initiatives within one or more product areas
- Strong product thinking and ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
- Experience using research, data, and insights to inform design decisions and influence product outcomes
- Proven ability to lead design work through influence, collaborating across Product, Engineering, and other teams
- Experience mentoring or guiding other designers, contributing to quality and consistency across work
- Strong systems thinking and familiarity with design systems and standards
- Effective communication skills, including articulating design rationale and trade-offs
- Mindset focused on quality, iteration, and continuous improvement
