The UX Designer will own the end-to-end design process, creating intuitive user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to simplify complex construction workflows. They will conduct user research and collaborate with product and engineering teams to evolve the design system and drive customer impact.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end UX process from concept to launch and beyond
- Design user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that simplify complex workflows
- Run user research, testing, and validation to uncover real customer needs
- Translate insights into clear, actionable product and design decisions
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life
- Facilitate workshops and drive alignment across stakeholders
- Create high-quality designs ready for developer handoffâand iterate post-launch based on data
- Help establish and evolve the Buildxact design system for consistency and scale
- Provide thought leadership on UX trends, interaction patterns, and emerging tech
- Mentor and guide others on best practices in user-centered design
Requirements
- Experience designing UX for SaaS or digital products
- Strong user-first mindset
- Confidence working end-to-end across research, design, testing, and delivery
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams in agile environments
- Natural curiosity and bias toward testing, learning, and improving
- Strong communication skills
- Experience building or contributing to design systems
- Passion for solving real-world problems with elegant, practical solutions
