Senior Product Designer

You will own the end-to-end design process for complex product surfaces, from initial problem framing and customer research to final UI implementation. Additionally, you will contribute to the design system, mentor junior designers, and partner closely with engineering and product management teams.
Responsibilities
- Customer research: Run interviews independently, synthesise findings, convert to design direction
- Design system contributions: Extend primitives, propose new patterns, document conventions
- Mentoring designers: Code review the design equivalent, review work, give critique, unblock craft questions
- Driving design critique sessions: Structure feedback rounds, raise the bar across the team
- Written design rationale: Produce design decision documents, principles, and decision logs as a default
- Cross-functional partnership: Surface design constraints early to PM and engineering
Requirements
- 4-7 years of professional product design experience
- B2B enterprise SaaS experience
- Substantive senior-level work on dense, professional UI for business users at scale
- Track record of independently designing complex, ambiguous problems from research through ship at a previous role
- Demonstrable design system contributions
- Articulate written rationale for design decisions
- Mentored at least one junior designer in a past role
