Director, Electronic Design Engineering

The Director will supervise the development of next-generation products for data transport over copper and fiber in datacenter and access markets. They will drive new IP development, device architecture selection, and coordinate cross-functional teams from concept to production release.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the development of next-generation products for data transport over copper and fiber in the datacenter and access markets
- Drive the development of new IP, feasibility studies, selection of device architectures, design execution, and schedules
- Coordinate with other cross-functional teams during the various development phases from device concept to production release
- Provide mentorship and work with individual contributors and managers on defining goals for career development and growth
Requirements
- MSEE and 10+ years' experience
- Previous Management and Technical lead/Chip architect experience
- Demonstrated capability to drive teams to successful product introduction through best-in-class execution
- Demonstrated capability to attract and retain talent
- A track record of innovation
- In-depth understanding of analog and high-speed design fundamentals
- Experience with high-speed data communication products (multi-Gbps equalizers, crosspoints, CDRs, PLLs, laser drivers, TIAs) highly regarded
- Experience with BicMOS and/or sub-micron CMOS tech
