Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will create high-quality visual assets for church services, social media, and marketing campaigns while supporting various ministries with branding and signage. They are responsible for managing multiple design projects simultaneously and overseeing the production of all print materials.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, visually engaging graphics and visuals for weekend service experiences, social media content, campaigns, web design, and more
• Support ministries and campuses with creative requests, including signage, branding, and events
• Work closely with the Communications Director, other departments, and campuses to understand project requirements and effectively translate concepts into visually appealing designs
• Oversee the design and ordering of all print materials required for projects within Southstone Church
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality designs within established deadlines
• Embrace feedback from team members and departments to refine and improve designs and deliverables continuously
• Perform other duties, as needed

Requirements

• Complete understanding and experience with Adobe Software Products, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, as well as other design software
• Familiarity with project management tools, such as Asana
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition
• A believer committed to nurturing a growing relationship with Christ and consistently demonstrating Christian character and integrity

• Well-organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Humble, flexible, and teachable, willing to be spiritually and professionally guided

• Ability to deal with change, delays, and unexpected events well
• Communicates effectively and in a timely manner
• Possesses the ability to balance vision with execution—strategically thinking ahead while managing the details
• Demonstrates a collaborative leadership style and a heart for both ministry and people
• A Bachelor's degree, certificate, or college coursework in a related field is a plus
• 2+ years of experience creating and designing materials in a related field
