The Lead Graphic Designer will own and drive large-scale, cross-channel brand initiatives from concept through execution while ensuring consistency across all platforms. They will also mentor other designers and collaborate with cross-functional partners to shape creative direction and deliver high-impact brand assets.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive large-scale, cross-channel brand initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with broader business and brand strategy
  • Translate brand and business objectives into scalable design systems, frameworks, and approaches that enhance consistency and elevate impact across channels
  • Design with an eye toward warmth and wit, and bring creative finesse to balance the playfulness, simplicity, and sophistication that define Warby Parker’s brand
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners across Marketing, Retail, and Product to shape briefs, brainstorm, iterate, drive execution, and ensure delivery of high-impact initiatives

Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience in graphic design
  • A robust design portfolio that demonstrates strategic thinking, versatility across mediums, and a mastery of design fundamentals, typography, and brand systems
  • Advanced skills with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop)
  • Strong understanding of graphic design skills, including color theory, photo editing, composition, and typography
  • Ability to lead complex, multi-channel initiatives from concept through execution
  • Influential communication skills to confidently present work and the creative decisions behind it
