You will lead the design of the core Editor experience, focusing on strategy, execution, and the integration of AI-driven features. You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to simplify complex enterprise workflows and ensure scalable, high-quality product solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end experiences for enterprise integrations, including workflows that connect Pencil with external systems such as DAMs, CMSs, and ad platforms
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Client Delivery teams to translate complex client requirements into clear, usable product experiences
- Simplify technical concepts like APIs, data syncing, permissions, and system mappings into intuitive user interfaces and flows
- Support the design of reusable patterns and frameworks for integrations, helping turn one-off client solutions into scalable product capabilities
- Work across multiple client projects, balancing short-term delivery needs with long-term platform consistency
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and aligned with integration architecture and constraints
- Contribute to the evolution of the product by identifying common patterns across custom projects and feeding them back into the core experience
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing digital products
- A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to simplify complex systems, workflows, or technical concepts into clear user experiences
- Experience working on integrations, APIs, or products that connect with external systems is highly valued
- Strong systems thinking, with the ability to see patterns across different problems and design reusable solutions
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, client-driven environments where requirements evolve and constraints are real
- Proven ability to collaborate closely with engineers, with an understanding of technical constraints and system design
- Ability to balance speed and quality, delivering pragmatic solutions without losing sight of long-term consistency
- Highly proficient in Figma, using it to communicate flows, edge cases, and interaction details clearly
