Part-Time: Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer develops and revises creative marketing materials for print and digital platforms to support the college's strategic communications. They collaborate with the marketing team to produce assets such as brochures, signage, social media graphics, and digital templates.

Responsibilities

• Maximize the organization’s reach through dynamic creative that enhances the college’s print, digital, and various media assets
• Design duties will include, but are not limited to: Charts/infographics, Brochures, flyers, posters, and business cards, Campus signage, Creative elements for magazines and other publications, Digital templates (PowerPoint, online stationery, and forms, etc.), Social media graphics, including memes, headers, and infographics
• Convert designs and print collateral into digital assets
• Work with internal and external printers and other vendors throughout the production process to ensure a quality product, as needed

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience in graphic design and production
• Excellent communication, graphic design, and production skills
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Mac hardware and all current versions of Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom
• Understanding of graphic techniques in the printing industry and core layout and design elements as typography, contrast, alignment, perspective, and proximity
