The BIM Designer will create and maintain detailed electrical, telecom, and security BIM models using Revit for data center facilities. They will also produce construction documentation and collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure design standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Designing the electrical, Telecom, and Security systems of Data Centers, and utilizing Revit to create and maintain BIM models
  • Working with support and guidance within a team environment to accomplish assigned tasks
  • Working with internal groups as well as external suppliers and consultants
  • Being self-motivated and working within the MEP group as well as within other teams
  • Supporting in preparing and developing detailed Revit models of Electrical, Telecom, and Security building systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Experience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission-critical facilities, especially data centers
  • 3+ years of design/engineering of producing construction drawings for mission-critical facilities
  • 2+ years consistent Revit and AutoCAD experience
