UX Designer (Contract Role - Part Time)

The UX Designer will support the evolution of the Career Pathways platform by designing end-to-end user flows and high-fidelity UI screens. They will also conduct user research, synthesize feedback, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform usability and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design and document end-to-end user flows, interaction patterns, and high-fidelity UI screens within Figma
• Engage directly with beta users to gather and synthesize feedback on usability, accessibility, and overall sentiment
• Evaluate core user journeys to identify friction points and opportunities for improved clarity and flow
• Review AI coach transcripts and workflows to identify experience improvements through a customer-centric lens
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and vendors to support rapid learning and iterative development

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in UX, UI, or Product Design, preferably within a consulting or fast-paced digital environment
• Strong proficiency in Figma, including experience working within and maintaining established design systems
• Proven background in user research and customer discovery, with the ability to turn qualitative insights into actionable design improvements
• Demonstrated experience designing digital products for web and/or mobile platforms
• Strong portfolio that showcases your ability to lead end-to-end design work from initial user flows to final UI
