Principal Product Designer

Lead the design strategy and vision for AI-powered product experiences to streamline operations for home service professionals. Drive architectural-level design decisions while mentoring the design team and collaborating with engineering leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design strategy for complex, high-impact product areas that align with HCP's long-term goals
- Define and drive the design vision for HCP's AI features, translating complex AI capabilities into clear, intuitive workflows for Pros
- Build and maintain sophisticated prototypes that push the boundaries of current product capabilities
- Architect scalable design systems that ensure consistency across all platforms and touchpoints
- Drive cross-functional alignment by communicating design vision to executive leadership and stakeholders
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product design or a related field
- Proven track record of leading design for complex SaaS products at scale
- Strong prototyping and product development capabilities with a focus on functional output
- Advanced proficiency in design and prototyping tools (i.e. Figma, Framer, Principle)
- Comfort working in tools like Figma, though it is not your primary focus for execution
