Marine Hybrid Controls & Software Integration Engineer (Design Engineering Specialist)

You will design and configure the control architecture for marine hybrid power systems, focusing on power management logic and energy flow optimization. Additionally, you will lead system-level HIL testing, software validation, and commissioning to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and configure control architecture for hybrid power systems
- Develop functional sequences for power transitions and load-sharing logic
- Work with internal engineering teams to execute programming and parameterization of Hybrid Control Units and Power Management Systems
- Lead system-level Hardware-in-the-Loop testing and software-in-the-loop simulations
- Develop system-level DFMEA's and validation test plans
Requirements
- Experience in control logic, architecture, and functional integration of hybrid power systems
- Technical knowledge of power management logic, energy storage optimization, and state-machine programming
- Advanced proficiency in marine data protocols and industrial networking
- Programming experience with PLC, MATLAB/Simulink, or C++/Python
