Water Slide Product Designer
Proslide Technology 🇨🇦 Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
The designer will develop complex 3D surface models for large-scale fiberglass water ride systems while ensuring manufacturability and performance. They will also produce technical documentation and participate in on-site installation and product verification activities.
Responsibilities
- Own the development of complex 3D surface models for waterslide components
- Create high-quality, continuous surfaces (A-class or equivalent) suitable for large-scale fiberglass structures
- Develop and refine geometry for long, continuous ride paths and complex transitions
- Ensure surface quality, continuity, and alignment across multi-part assemblies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product design with a strong focus on 3D CAD surface modeling
- Advanced proficiency in SOLIDWORKS surfacing tools (or equivalent CAD surfacing platforms)
- Ability to use AutoCAD and knowledge of blocks
- Demonstrated experience creating complex, non-prismatic geometry (not simple mechanical parts)
Benefits
