Principal Product Designer

The Principal Product Designer will lead user research and design efforts to create intuitive, best-in-class home shopping experiences. They will collaborate with cross-functional partners to define visual standards and leverage AI to improve product offerings incrementally.
Responsibilities
- Lead work in undefined problem spaces using user research, user experience, and visual & interaction design
- Design flows and experiences that simplify and distill down complex actions into usable interfaces
- Define and own the visual and UI standards across multiple products on desktop and mobile web
- Leverage AI as a thought partner, prototype creator, and however it evolves in 2026
- Present to stakeholders a vision for the product through a visual narrative
- Give and solicit feedback from designers and cross-functional partners to continually improve the end customer experience
Requirements
- 6+ years of design experience at tech companies, with start-up, consumer, and fintech experience especially prized
- 2+ years of experience planning and executing user research efforts
- Passion for learning about the newest technology, specifically AI+design
- Experience building consumer experiences
- Need for speed and preference for shipping incrementally to pull learnings forward
- Deep knowledge of systems, patterns, interactions, and prototyping
- Exceptional visual execution and highly collaborative, strong communication skills
