Senior UX Researcher

The Senior UX Researcher leads and delivers hands-on user research and usability testing for hardware and software products to ensure compliance with medical device regulations. They collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and regulatory affairs to define usability strategies and document study results.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver hands-on user research and user testing activities
- Define usability strategy to meet program objectives and usability compliance
- Work with Regulatory Affairs to align usability strategy with regulatory submission strategies
- Plan, conduct, and document contextual studies, interviews, surveys, and usability testing
- Collaborate with stakeholders in Product Management and Engineering
Requirements
- Master's degree in human factors engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in UX research
- Knowledge of UX research methods such as contextual studies, interviews, surveys, and usability testing
- Ability to choose the appropriate method(s) in different contexts
- Good understanding of medical device regulations and compliance
- Good knowledge of usability engineering and risk management standards and guidelines
