The manager will provide oversight and technical support for multiple programs within the Division portfolio, including ICBM sustainment and hardware development. They are responsible for leading design department improvements, mentoring staff, and managing high-performing teams to execute complex engineering programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and assistance to multiple programs within the Division portfolio
  • Analyze current release process, gaps, and resolution to ensure throughput of PDP releases at design review milestones
  • Own and lead improvements across design department for employee engagement, hiring, development, training, attraction, and retention of top talent
  • Mentor, develop, and train section managers and overall employee base
  • Supporting proposal work, independent technical reviews, program stand-up, audits, and special assignments on an as needed basis
  • Create and manage high performing teams while providing technical, administrative and management expertise in the day-to-day activities required to successfully execute complex engineering programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of experience; 6 years with Masterโ€™s
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP)
  • At least 1 year of experience working in the Aerospace and or the Defense field
  • 3 years of experience as CAM and or EVMS
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate with senior management, peers, and employees
