You will deliver intuitive service experiences based on user needs while advocating for design thinking and service design principles. Additionally, you will manage, coach, and develop a team of staff to support their performance and career growth.
Responsibilities
- Deliver intuitive service experiences based on user needs and design principles
- Manage, coach and develop a small number of staff, with a focus on managing employee performance and assisting in their career development
- Be part of and supported by our growing Experience Design capability creating exemplary digital services
- Collaborate with stakeholders and designers to deliver creatives aligned with campaign goals
Requirements
- Able to define design strategy and communicate benefits to senior stakeholders
- Can identify and design methods of ideation appropriate to the business context and project requirements
- Uses journey maps to inform business and customer recommendations
- Co-ordinates the production of prototypes to meet the needs of user testing and development
- Able to conduct usability testing; can incorporate research into design strategy
- Collaborates to create new IA based on analysis and research
- Advocates and promotes accessibility and AD standards across projects
- Guides other teams and stakeholders in best practice for UCD across a project lifecycle
- Mentors junior team members and represents UX design across Kainos
