The UX Researcher will plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research studies to surface behavioral insights and inform product decisions. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user-centered design principles and data-backed findings into the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- User Research Operations — Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research studies including user interviews, surveys, usability tests, and diary studies across the full player journey
- Behavioral Analysis — Analyze user behavior across our platform using analytics tools, session recordings, heatmaps, and funnel data to identify friction points and opportunities
- Competitor & Market Research — Conduct structured competitive analysis of sweepstakes casino products to benchmark our UX against industry standards and identify gaps
- Wireframing & Prototyping — Use Figma or Visily to translate research insights into wireframes, user flows, and low-to-mid fidelity prototypes that guide product and design decisions
- User Personas & Journey Mapping — Develop and maintain player personas, customer journey maps, and mental models that inform product strategy and prioritization
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in UX research, with a portfolio or case studies demonstrating research-to-product impact
- Proficiency in Figma and/or Visily for wireframing, prototyping, and user flow design
- Strong command of user-centered design (UCD) principles, usability heuristics, and accessibility standards
- Proven experience conducting user interviews, usability testing, and surveys — both moderated and unmoderated
- Familiarity with analytics and behavioral tools such as Mixpanel, Hotjar, FullStory, or Google Analytics
