Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will create various visual materials for print and digital use while adhering to brand guidelines. They will also collaborate with the team to support marketing, communications, and fundraising goals.

Responsibilities

• Use Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to create digital and print assets like brochures, directories, social media posts, etc
• Assist with editing and formatting documents, including applying consistent typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
• Develop accessible, usable corporate templates for staff use
• Collaborate with team members to understand project goals and incorporate feedback
• Prepare files for print and digital distribution, ensuring materials are clear, engaging, and aligned with brand guidelines
• Help organize and maintain design files and templates

Requirements

• Post-secondary education is preferred
• Familiarity with Adobe Create Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Basic understanding of layout, typography, or visual design principles
• Good communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet assigned deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
