Lead Product Designer
Patientpoint Remote (🇺🇸 United States of America)
The Lead Product Designer will drive high-impact product experiences by leading design strategy, continuous discovery, and execution across product areas. They will mentor designers, establish design workflows in Figma, and partner with engineering to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead design within product areas, driving work from continuous discovery through delivery and iteration
- Shape product direction, partnering in the product triad to define problems and influence roadmap decisions
- Drive continuous product discovery, ensuring ongoing discovery practices are embedded in team workflows
- Own design workflow in Figma, establishing best practices for design systems usage, prototyping, and developer handoff
- Elevate design craft, setting and upholding a high bar for interaction design, visual design, and usability
- Make and communicate trade-offs, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
- Measure and drive outcomes, partnering with product and data teams to define success metrics and connect design decisions to user and business outcomes
- Mentor and develop designers, providing coaching, critique, and guidance to elevate team performance and grow design capability
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in product design, UX, or related field
- Proven ability to lead design within cross-functional teams and influence product direction
- Deep experience in continuous discovery practices
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including systems thinking, prototyping, and developer handoff workflows
- Experience using or integrating AI tools into design workflows
- Strong product design strategy skills, including research, journey mapping, and evaluating trade-offs
