Design Engineering Technician

The Design Engineering Technician will build and test electronic prototypes, including PCB rework and bench testing for automated shading systems. They will also manage field return evaluations, document test data, and collaborate with design engineers on product development.
Responsibilities
- New Product Development and Prototyping: Build prototypes of PCBs, electronic sub-assemblies, and integrated systems
- Product Testing: Execute functional, electrical, environmental, and mechanical test plans
- Product Support and Return Evaluations: Receive, log, and triage customer field returns and warranty units
Requirements
- Minimum - High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years hands-on experience in an electronics, engineering, or R&D environment
- Preferred - Associate's or Bachelor's in Engineering Technology (BSEET), Electronics Technology, or related discipline
- Preferred - Experience with motorized products, IoT devices, embedded systems, or consumer electronics
