Hardware Development/Chip Design Engineering 1

This role involves designing, developing, and industrializing electromechanical products or chips while ensuring they meet technical specifications and customer needs. The engineer will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from initial architecture and prototyping to mass production and certification.

Responsibilities

• Translating product needs into technical specifications
• Designing product architecture corresponding to technical specifications
• Supervising or performing 3D and 2D drawings (for mechanical parts), schematics and layouts (for electronic designs)
• Improving design through CAD simulations and emulations
• Supervising prototype manufacturing
• Integrating subsystems, qualifying and validating material design
• Supervising product certifications
• Supervising mass production (industrialization)
• Writing technical guides
• Performing technological monitoring
• Participating in customer quotes
• Coordinating with stakeholders to resolve design and development issues

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in electronic engineering or equivalent degree with specific knowledge of microelectronic devices and related digital circuit design
• At least 1 year of experience in the development of complex digital blocks or SoC embedding a microcontroller
• Knowledge of hardware description language (Verilog, System Verilog, VHDL)
• Knowledge of the Digital design basic tools : RTL simulation, Logical synthesis, Static Timing Analysis, Equivalence Checking (Synopsys and CADENCE tools)
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as TCL and Python
• Fluent in English
