Staff Product Designer - Travel

You will own the end-to-end Flights experience, shaping product direction and scope in partnership with product and engineering teams. Additionally, you will conduct user research, prototype rapidly using AI tools, and mentor the design team to elevate craft standards.
Responsibilities
- Own the Flights experience end-to-end
- Shape direction and scope, and partner with PM and engineering from the earliest stages
- Conduct and synthesize user research to understand customer problems
- Prototype rapidly using tools like Claude and Cursor
- Stay current on emerging AI trends and product patterns
Requirements
- Staff-level IC track record with end-to-end ownership at scale
- Experience designing complex, multi-step product flows
- Ability to move fluidly between big questions and craft-level details
- Strong customer empathy and design thinking
- Fluency in data, using qualitative and quantitative signals to validate design decisions
