Design Engineering Manager - Premier PV

The Design Engineering Manager leads and mentors a team of engineers to ensure the successful development and delivery of eBOS products. They oversee project prioritization, design reviews, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure products meet safety, reliability, and manufacturability standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop design engineers in technical skills, processes, and career growth
- Assign resources, review work, and ensure timely engineering releases for assigned projects
- Oversee design reviews, compliance documentation, and engineering packages
- Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Serviceability (DFS), and Design for Installation (DFI) principles within product designs
- Support cost-reduction initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across product lines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering discipline
- 8-12 years of engineering experience, including 2-3 years in a leadership role
- Solid understanding of eBOS products and manufacturing requirements
- Strong communication and project coordination skills
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements
