The Lead Design Engineer manages and coordinates sub-projects, ensuring product development from concept to series production. They act as the key technical contact for clients, organizing design reviews and ensuring project objectives, deadlines, and costs are met.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and develop products, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions
- Manage projects, maintaining a high level of quality and consistency
- Plan and organize design reviews, working closely with project management and hierarchical management
- Ensure project objectives, deadlines, costs, and development status are met, in accordance with performance targets set by sub-project management
Requirements
- University degree in technical studies, preferably mechanical engineering
- At least 7 years of experience working with CAD (Catia or NX preferred)
- At least 4 years of experience in coordinating a team of design engineers
- Advanced knowledge of German and English languages
- Developed communication and independent work skills
