Drive the creation and evaluation of new product concepts while leading the selection of materials and manufacturing processes. Develop precise 3D models and engineering drawings while resolving production issues to ensure product integrity.
Responsibilities
- Drive the creation and evaluation of new product concepts to support innovation and market competitiveness
- Lead and contribute to the assessment and selection of appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing processes
- Develop precise 3D models and produce high-quality engineering drawings in accordance with design standards
- Identify, analyze, and resolve design, tooling, and production issues to ensure efficient product development and manufacturing
- Plan and execute testing activities, and perform detailed analyses to enhance design integrity and ensure product reliability
- Conduct research and evaluations of emerging materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes to continuously improve product performance and development efficiency
Requirements
- Strong interest in mechanical engineering within the networking and technology industry
- Demonstrated creative thinking and the ability to approach problems with innovative, "out-of-the-box" solutions
- Highly self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new knowledge and technologies
- Solid understanding of basic mechanics, material science, and manufacturing principles
- High-volume product experience with strong root-cause analysis capabilities and effective problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external suppliers
- Proficient in English with strong reading, writing, and verbal communication abilities
- Proficient in 3D CAD tools (Solidworks preferred)
- Great ability to solve problems with statistical tools
- Experience in cellular, outdoor, and industrial product design
- Familiarity with the regulations and standards of industrial electrical products
