The candidate will architect, implement, and support power system solutions for networking, storage, and server products. They will lead the design of DC-DC switch-mode power supplies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure thermal, safety, and performance requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- Design power solutions for custom server and storage and Networking products
- Drive power systems architectural direction for next-generation devices and platforms
- Define power architectures, work with SI engineers to define SI constraints
- Guide CAD designers and bring-up and debug issues
Requirements
- 10+ years of industry experience, 5+ years of power supply design experience
- Familiarity with the theory of buck, boost, buck-boost, LDO, hotswap, oring, load switch, E-fuse, fuel gauge, fuse transistor, and diode cell
- Proficiency in high-efficiency DC-DC power conversion design, analysis, circuit simulation, control loops, and stabilization
