Principal Product Designer, FinTech

Lead the design vision and execution for complex FinTech products, including payment experiences and billing portals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams of product, engineering, and data to define strategy and deliver high-quality user-centric features.

- Partner closely across disciplines to define and deliver features that meet real user needs
- Turn complex ideas into clear, simple flows
- Design for the best outcomes
- Build trust and collaboration with product, engineering, and design peers while raising the quality bar across the org
- Lead design reviews, refine how we gather feedback and make decisions
- Continuously push fellow designers to sharpen their craft and clarity
Requirements
- 8+ years' experience with a mastery of the full 0-1 product development process
- Extensive experience in FinTech domains and a product focus in spend management, card issuing, bill payment, insights and more
- Strong UX foundation and experience building net-new products
- Strong craft in visual, interaction, and UX design with a focus on simplicity, utility, and delight
- Proven experience managing stakeholders in partnership with PMs, engineers, data, and executives
- Proficiency in modern design tools like Figma, design systems, and emerging AI tech such as Pencil / Cursor
