Digital Experience UX Designer, VP
State Street đ¨đł Hangzhou City, Zhejiang, China
The role involves driving the full UX design lifecycle for DMC China, ensuring alignment with global design standards and strategic objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex concepts into intuitive, high-quality user experiences while mentoring team members.
Responsibilities
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences
- Drive the full UX design lifecycle across applications and components in DMC China
- Collaborate with the Global DMC UX Design team to align on design priorities, standards, design systems, and strategic objectives
- Facilitate the client's product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping, and user-testing experiences
- Produce, maintain, and contribute to high-quality UX Factory by using Figma & related tooling
- Ensure accessibility, usability, and consistency across products
- Support and mentor designers, engineers, and partners on UX and UI best practices
- Promote innovation in UX, including the use of modern design tools, AI-assisted design approaches, and emerging UX patterns
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, Interaction Design, or a related field
- 8-12+ years of professional experience in UX / Product / Digital Experience Design
- Proven experience working closely with engineering, product, and delivery teams
- Strong understanding of UX methodologies, accessibility standards, and best practices
- Hands-on experience creating high-quality design artifacts
- Ability to balance strategic design thinking with pragmatic execution
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience in financial services, data-driven platforms, or complex enterprise systems is highly desirable
- A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX thinking, execution quality, and impact on delivered products is required
