This role involves leading complex engineering assignments for telecommunication and physical security systems while applying cost-competitive execution techniques. The specialist will develop specifications, manage procurement activities, and ensure technical compliance across all project phases.

Responsibilities

  • Applying Cost Competitive Execution techniques to develop the most cost-effective total project solution
  • Developing and reviewing specifications, including design criteria
  • Participating in activities associated with equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting
  • Performing and checking calculations, specifying equipment, and solving moderately complex engineering problems

Requirements

  • Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eight years of work-related experience
  • Experience and advanced knowledge of medium to large project's integrated telecommunication systems and physical security systems
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
