Web Developer (Graphic Designer)

The successful candidate will develop and maintain the ALSDE website, including creating layouts and features. They will also remediate various document types to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and create the look, layout, and features of the ALSDE website
- Provide support and maintenance services for existing ALSDE website
- Perform document remediation to meet WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and PDF/UA standards
- Write and edit content
- Solve code problems
- Train and prepare documentation
- Design webpage layout
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field with two (2) to three (3) years of professional design experience
- Portfolio of strong creative work
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
