Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer is responsible for planning, designing, and maintaining web-based graphic elements, advertisements, and promotional emails. They also coordinate with other departments to produce print materials such as flyers while ensuring aesthetic and layout accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for creating, maintaining, and sending all Customer-facing promotional emails
- Designs advertisements
- Creates layout, proofs, and output of printed flyer pages; sends to the printer
- Produces content for Web Interaction and Print Materials such as Flyer and Email design
- Coordinates with other departments to ensure the accuracy and propriety of graphic work
- Determines size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selects style and size of type, and arranges layout based upon available space, knowledge of layout principles, and aesthetic design concepts
Requirements
- 3 years of applicable experience in graphic design
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
- Professional digital graphic design and email marketing design experience
- Expert user of the Adobe Creative Suite on PC Platform
- Expert user of MS Office software and can learn proprietary systems
- Experience using Email Marketing software, preferably Acoustic
- HTML, XHTML, and CSS experience a plus
