UX Designer

Lead user-centered design for web and mobile applications by conducting research, creating wireframes, and developing interactive prototypes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency, accessibility compliance, and effective implementation of product goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead user-centered design for web and mobile applications serving health and public-sector clients
- Plan and conduct user research and usability testing (remote and in-person) to gather insights, synthesize findings, and iterate on designs
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity visual designs, interactive prototypes, and detailed interaction specifications using tools such as Figma or Adobe XD
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, content strategists, and stakeholders to define requirements, align on priorities, and ensure designs are implemented as intended
- Contribute to and maintain component libraries and design systems to promote consistency, scalability, and efficient delivery across projects
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design (WCAG) throughout the design process and validate accessibility during testing and handoff
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of professional UX design experience creating digital products for web and mobile platforms
- US Citizenship is required
- A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX work: research, interaction design, visual design, and prototypes
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision)
