Senior Graphic Designer
Dijital Team 🇱🇰 Colombo, Colombo District, Sri Lanka
The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for conceptualizing and executing high-quality designs across print and digital channels while maintaining brand alignment. They will also manage client-facing workshops, oversee production processes, and provide guidance to marketing team members.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality designs for landing pages, eDMs, and social media tiles, web banners and more
- Interpret and apply existing brand guidelines with precision
- Contribute to the development of new brand identities, including logo marks, colour palettes, and typography systems
- Design and oversee the production of apparel, event merchandise, and physical handouts, ensuring brand consistency across different materials
- Set up complex files for production, with a thorough understanding of working with CMYK and spot colours, bleed, trim etc
- Execute minor front-end updates and layout changes within CMS platforms such as WordPress and Wix
- Apply existing AI tool knowledge to improve workflow efficiency, or demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and implement AI tools and processes where required
- Perform thorough pre-flight checks on all digital and print files to reduce the risk of errors or issues
- Lead client-facing workshops and design presentations
- Articulate the strategic 'why' behind creative decisions to non-design stakeholders
- Maintain rigorous time-tracking records for all tasks in Accelo
- Manage multiple competing briefs simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met without a reduction in quality
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client-facing environments
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across teams and present creative concepts confidently
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced agency setting
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability for quality and deadlines
- Strategic and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to articulate the rationale behind creative decisions
- Proactive, adaptable, and open to learning new tools, processes, and ways of working
- A minimum of 5 years of professional design experience, ideally in an agency setting
- Expert-level command of Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
