Staff Product Designer

Lead user experience strategy and execution for the Okta Research & Development business unit while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive, human-centered product designs. Mentor junior designers and define design frameworks to ensure high-quality UX delivery across the product portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead user experience strategy and execution for Okta's Research & Development business unit
- Guide and oversee the UX strategy alongside cross-functional partners
- Design and facilitate co-creation design workshops with Product Management, Engineering, and Design
- Craft user-centered artifacts and end-to-end journeys to align teams contributing to Workforce Identity Management
- Collaborate with other Okta designers to ensure consistency across interface experiences
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant work experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer
- A portfolio showcasing shipped B2B or enterprise products
- Degree in a related field or relevant work experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer
- Proficient in Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or similar design tools
- Possesses at least a basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
