Senior Product Designer

The Senior Product Designer will focus on reimagining how baseball data, scores, and stats are visualized to enhance the live game experience for fans. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define problems, shape strategy, and ship user-facing solutions across the MLB digital ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Work to reimagine how scores, stats, and data are visualized to our millions of fans
- Partner with other Designers and create new features and products focused on the live game experience
- Expand focus across the suite of MLB products to support business initiatives and find new and creative ways to delight the fan
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers to define problems, shape strategy, and ship user-facing solutions
- Conduct your own research and collaborate with others to support foundational and iterative solutions for your designs
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in digital Product Design or User Experience Design
- Good understanding of baseball and the numbers and insights behind the game
- Experience working with large data sets and visualizations
- Ability to go from ideation to delivery with the help of a solid design system
- Strong portfolio of shipped products that show data and user-centric decision making and strategy
