The Principal UI/UX Designer will lead the UX vision and design strategy for the product ecosystem, ensuring cohesive and intuitive experiences across all platforms. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex municipal workflows into scalable, user-centric design solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design leadership and strategy: owning and articulating the UX vision and long-term design strategy
- Product and experience design: leading the design of complex workflows, data-heavy interfaces, and multi-device experiences
- Cross-functional collaboration: working closely with Product Managers, R&D team, Customer Care, Sales, and Operations
- Design system and standards: leading the expansion and governance of Trellintās design system
- Continuous improvement: staying current on industry trends, enterprise UX patterns, mobile design innovations, and accessibility standards
Requirements
- 8-12+ years of experience in UI/UX design
- At least 3 years in a senior, lead, or principal design role
- Deep expertise designing enterprise SaaS products, workflow-heavy applications, or operational tools
- Mastery of modern design tools and prototyping methods
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design ownership, systems thinking, and measurable impact
