Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will conceptualize, develop, and produce original graphic design work, including page layouts and brand assets for the athletics department. They will also provide creative and technical guidance to student interns while ensuring all designs align with NCAA and brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Creating page layouts, managing and producing brand and campaign assets, and applying photo manipulation and typography across a wide range of promotional materials
- Collaborating with athletics department staff to conceptualize, develop, design, and produce original graphic design work
- Mentoring and supporting student design interns and volunteer student staff by providing creative and technical guidance
Requirements
- Two years of college-level training in graphic arts, illustration, drafting or closely allied field
- One year of experience as a Graphics Assistant or equivalent education/experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of graphic design with sports or intercollegiate athletics
- Proficiency in design software including, but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Aftereffects)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel
