Innovation and Design Engineer, Worldwide Design Engineering

The engineer will design high-quality, cost-effective fulfillment and logistics systems, managing projects from concept realization through design approval. They will serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers and support the operations team during installation and commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to design high-quality, cost-effective solutions for fulfillment and distribution systems
- Own multiple projects simultaneously, from concept realization through design approval
- Be the primary point of technical contact for suppliers for projects
- Hand-off projects to the Ops Engineering team for installation and commissioning
- Support the Ops Engineering team to ensure successful installation, commissioning, and launch of projects
Requirements
- Experience in management of engineering design projects
- Experience in engineering and estimating material handling and storage systems
- Experience running SQL queries and data mining
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in Design/Innovation, research & development, manufacturing, process, industrial engineering, or related work
