Staff Product Designer

The Staff Product Designer will collaborate with product managers to define strategic vision and evolve the company's design philosophies and culture. They will also execute on feature releases and solve complex technical challenges through innovative UX and UI patterns.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers to define the strategic product vision
• Help build out and evolve the design philosophies, processes, and culture at Graphite
• Explore innovative UX and UI patterns
• Solve complex technical challenges with creative problem solving
• Execute on 0-1 feature releases and large product updates
• Help identify new business and product opportunities through a strong understanding of our capabilities, user needs, and the competitive landscape

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience designing digital products
• Full stack design skills (UX, design systems, UI, prototyping)
• Very strong sense for visual design for UI (eg. layouts, components, design systems, polish, etc)
• Ability to translate ambiguous user needs to concrete requirements and turn them into comprehensive design specs
• Proven product design experience with concrete examples of iterative approaches to complex problems
