Sonar Mental Health - Senior Product Designer ( Part-time)
Jobrack Remote (🇿🇦 South Africa)
You will lead end-to-end product design for youth mental health initiatives, ranging from student-facing chat experiences to internal care workflows. Additionally, you will partner with engineering and product management to shape roadmaps, evolve design systems, and conduct discovery research.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design across core product surfaces
- Rapidly prototype and test concepts to validate direction before engineering investment
- Design intuitive experiences across complex clinical, operational, and AI-assisted systems
- Run discovery research, including interviews and usability testing, to inform product direction
- Partner with Engineering to ship high-quality, scalable design systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience with a portfolio showcasing strong UX, UI, and interaction design
- Proven experience designing complex, multi-sided platforms
- Strong systems thinker, comfortable designing workflows, dashboards, and AI-assisted tools
- Strong UX research instincts and ability to run lightweight research independently
- Deep understanding of accessibility and inclusive design best practices
Benefits
