Graphic Designer

Develop and design a high volume of visual assets including print and digital marketing materials for the organization. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure designs reflect the school's values while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design a high volume of visual assets, including print and digital pieces such as logos, flyers, social media graphics, posters, and other marketing materials for all three brands under the Mount Vernon Organization
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, and staff, to understand the communication needs of the School and develop designs that reflect the School's values and mission
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines and ensure all projects are completed on time
• Take an iterative approach to design, incorporating stakeholder feedback to refine designs and ensure they meet the needs of the School community
• Ensure all designs are consistent with the School's brand guidelines and visual identity
• Stay up to date on current design trends, tools, and techniques to continuously push the brand forward
• Develop video editing templates in collaboration with the Sr. Graphic Designer to streamline production workflows and ensure consistency across video content throughout the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on print and digital media
• Applicants must submit a portfolio showcasing a diverse range of high-quality design work
• Photography experience (preferred)
• Experience with animation and motion graphics (preferred)
