Senior Product Designer - Payments

You will own the experience, quality, and vision for the payments product area while collaborating with product and engineering teams. Your role involves conducting user research, prototyping solutions, and driving high-velocity execution to build seamless, reliable payment experiences.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-velocity execution in close collaboration with product and engineering
• Conduct and synthesize user research to deeply understand customer problems
• Design experiences that help millions of employees and thousands of finance teams seamlessly manage expenses, cards, and invoice processing
• Prototype rapidly using tools like Claude and Cursor to explore interaction patterns early
• Stay current on emerging AI trends and product patterns, building a clear point of view on what matters
• Push design practice forward: championing the user inside the triad, contributing to a culture of high craft

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience at a fast-growing tech company
• Experience with Expense Management, FinTech, or SaaS products
• Payments domain strength: Proven experience in at least one core payment area
• Strong customer empathy and design thinking
• Fluency in data, using qualitative and quantitative signals to validate design decisions
• Demonstrated ability to influence product direction inside cross-functional teams
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and large cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and storytelling skills
